2-Vehicle Crash on 60 Freeway
MONTEREY PARK, Calif. (March 3, 2022) — A two-vehicle Monterey Park crash on the 60 Freeway happened Thursday morning near Markland Drive.
The traffic collision occurred about 5:36 a.m. on March 3rd between a blue Kia Sedona and another car, according to the California Highway Patrol. It’s unknown at this time what led up to the collision between the two motorists.
Also, paramedics responded to treat at least one person with minor injuries, but there are no further details.
Both vehicles became disabled on the freeway with major front-end damage, the report said. They blocked the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the 60 Freeway after the crash in Monterey Park, police said.
Tow trucks responded to remove the vehicles from the crash scene.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Monterey Park traffic collision.
