
2-Vehicle Collision on the I-710 Freeway in Monterey Park
MONTEREY PARK, Calif. (Sept. 25, 2024) — A pickup truck and car were involved in a crash in Monterey Park on Wednesday along the northbound Interstate 710 Freeway.
It happened at 10:12 a.m. on Sept. 25th, at the interchange with the eastbound I-10 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the red Toyota Tundra pickup truck and grey sedan collided due to unknown circumstances in the middle lanes.
The Alhambra Fire Department responded to help those injured in the crash, but there were no major injuries, the report said.
A tow truck removed the pickup truck due to major front-end damage and the Lexus had major rear-end damage, the report said.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the 710 Freeway crash.
