1 Killed, 1 Injured in Monterey Park Head-On Crash at Floral and Collegian
MONTEREY PARK (February 9, 2020) – A traffic collision in the area of Floral Drive and Collegian Avenue killed one person and injured another on Sunday.
According to reports by KTLA News and CBS Los Angeles, officers received a call about the fatal accident shortly before 3 p.m. It happened near the 60 Freeway.
Police said two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason at the intersection of West Floral Drive and Collegian Avenue.

Monterey Park Fire Department officials along with the paramedics responded to the site and pronounced one individual dead at the scene.
Fighters also extricated another party found trapped in one of the cars involved in the wreck. Medical personnel rushed the patient to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
The names of the deceased and wounded victims have not been yet released. Meanwhile, a witness claimed that one of the drivers involved was apparently speeding prior to the crash.
