Multi-Vehicle Collision Near Atlantic Boulevard Thursday
Monterey Park, CA (January 17, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on State Route 60.
The California Highway Patrol group reported multiple vehicles collided with each other in the westbound side of SR-60, also known as Pomona Freeway. The accident took place near the Atlantic Boulevard offramp.

Officials described the cars involved in the wreck as a gray Jeep; a black Honda Accord; and a third vehicle of unknown make and model. According to the CHP dispatch, the third automobile fled the scene before police arrived.
Medical personnel responded to the crash site shortly after 5:29 p.m. Paramedics reportedly found at least one person with injuries. An ambulance transported the patient to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Additional details on the wreck have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the car crash on State Route 60 in Monterey Park.
