Monterey Park Crash Investigation
Police are reviewing the evidence and any witness statements to determine fault. The pedestrian was not in a crosswalk, but the driver may also share fault if they were traveling too fast, distracted or if their vehicle’s mechanisms such as the brakes failed. The investigation will also consist of looking at measurements of evidence left by the vehicles such as point of impact, final resting positions of the vehicles, skid marks, and gouge marks.
We offer our prayers to the injured man in hopes of a full recovery.
