Major Injury Car Accident on Highway 23 in Moorpark
MOORPARK, Calif. (Nov. 8, 2022) — A three-vehicle collision happened Tuesday on the Moorpark Freeway also known as state Route 23 at Tierra Rejada Road.
The collision occurred about 5:52 a.m. on Nov. 8th in the northbound lanes of SR-23 in Moorpark, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver in a gray Nissan Sentra reportedly spun out before being struck by a Ford Fusion and a silver Toyota Camry.
Two people in the Ford suffered undisclosed injuries and the vehicle was smoking. The Toyota sustained major front-end damage and went off the roadway.
The Ventura County Fire Department responded and located at least one person with major injuries from the collision.
Police did not mention the age, gender or identity of any of the people hurt in the collision.
Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine fault for the multi-vehicle crash.
