
Car Rear-Ends Cyclist on Pacific Highway
Morena, CA (January 22, 2023) – A bicyclist suffered serious injuries following a collision that occurred on Pacific Highway Saturday, January 21.
According to FOX5 News, a 63-year-old man was riding a beach cruiser bike traveling in the Morena neighborhood around 7:45 p.m. Earlier reports indicated a white 2008 Toyota Corolla heading north on the highway struck the cyclist from behind. The crash took place near the 4800 block of Pacific Highway.
Major Injury Bicycle Accident in Morena
Emergency crews responded to the accident scene shortly after 7:45 p.m. When medical personnel arrived, they found the biker suffered in multiple injuries. An ambulance rushed the victim to the hospital for treatment of severe fractures all over his body. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
The San Diego Police Traffic Division continue to investigate the incident. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine liability in the collision that happened on Pacific Highway in Morena.
