MORENO VALLEY: 3 Injured in 2-Car Accident on Cottonwood Avenue
MORENO VALLEY (Riverside County), June 19, 2014 – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon on Cottonwood Avenue at Day Street, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 3:20 p.m., CHP officers reported one person suffered moderate injuries and two were treated for minor injuries. A fourth person was not injured. Paramedics transported three victims by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment, the report said.

The county of Riverside reported 186 deaths and 7,262 injuries as a result of all traffic accidents in 2011, according to the latest report by the California Highway Patrol’s Statewide Integrated Traffic Report.
Indeed, the results include 74 people killed and 842 injured in alcohol-involved crashes; 37 killed and 338 injured in pedestrian accidents; 14 killed and 345 injured in bicycle crashes; and 18 killed and 533 injured in motorcycle crashes, the report said.
