MORENO VALLEY: 5 Injured Car Accident Cottonwood Avenue and Graham Street
MORENO VALLEY, California (June 15, 2017) — Five people suffered moderate to major injuries early Thursday morning in a two-vehicle collision at Cottonwood Avenue and Graham Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The crash took place about 1:03 a.m. when it was reported to police. Firefighters arriving at the scene saw one vehicle had crashed into a block wall and had to extricate at least one person from the vehicle.
Paramedics rushed three people with serious injuries and two with moderate injuries to hospitals by ground ambulances.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and liability. The investigation will look into what led to the crash, whether either of the drivers were disobeying laws. Speeding, distractions, drunken driving or many other violations can contribute to a person’s liability.
