MORENO VALLEY, California (August 18, 2014) – Six people were injured early Sunday morning in a solo-vehicle crash into a tree on Championship Drive at Dunes Way, according to a dispatch by the CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department.
About 8:26 a.m., Moreno Valley firefighters responded to the Championship Drive crash and reported that one person suffered major injuries and five others minor injuries after a driver lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a tree. Six people were transported to a local hospital for treatment, but a seventh person was uninjured and was not taken to hospital.
“Most drivers carry insurance coverage to protect their passengers in the event of a car accident, but sometimes these policy limits are too low to compensate an injured person’s medical costs,” said Attorney James Johnson. “An experienced attorney may be able to find additional sources of coverage for an injured passenger if the driver’s insurance is limited.”
