Moreno Valley Bus Accident 60 Freeway, Heacock Street (Feb. 13)

MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (Feb. 13, 2020) — Two people were injured Thursday morning in a collision involving a bus carrying 23 students and two cars on the 60 Freeway at Heacock Street in Moreno Valley.

The multi-vehicle bus accident was reported about 8:24 a.m. on Feb. 13th, the California Highway Patrol said.

The drivers of a black 2013 Jeep Cherokee and a silver Honda appear to have been involved in the collision with the passenger bus in the No. 1 lane of the freeway.

Paramedics responded and transported two people to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

A SigAlert was issued due to the HOV and No. 1 lane being blocked by vehicles.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by police who are reviewing the facts that led up to the crash.
