Major Injury Crash on Gilman Springs Road in Moreno Valley
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (Feb. 17, 2022) — One person suffered major injuries in a Moreno Valley car accident on Gilman Springs Road Thursday morning in Riverside County.
The two-vehicle crash happened about 7:15 a.m. on Feb. 17th , just northwest of Bridge Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Honda Civic and a green pickup truck collided due to unknown circumstances. One of the vehicles overturned during the collision. Additionally, one of the vehicles collided with an Edison pole, but the pole remained intact, police said.
CAL Fire Riverside firefighters responded to the scene with paramedics to help those injured in the crash. At least one person, believed to be a man, was taken to a hospital.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the accident on Gilman Springs Road.
