5 Injured in Moreno Valley Crash at Frederick and Cottonwood
MORENO VALLEY, CA (October 14, 2020) – A car crash injured several people at Frederick Street and Cottonwood Avenue in Moreno Valley.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the accident on Wednesday evening. Officers reported the wreck at around 7:12 p.m.
The incident happened on October 12 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Moreno Valley. The cars crashed at the intersection of Frederick Street and Cottonwood Avenue.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found a total of five victims hurt. Two of them ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
The other three survived the incident with minor injuries. Medical personnel then rushed all five patients to hospitals for treatment.
The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Frederick and Cottonwood to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Moreno Valley crash is still under investigation.
