2-Vehicle Collision at Lasselle Street and Copper Cove Lane
Moreno Valley, CA (June 5, 2022) – One person died, and another suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of Lasselle Street and Copper Cove Lane.
According to My News LA, two vehicles collided at the busy intersection in Moreno Valley. Earlier reports indicated a southbound white Toyota Sienna veered into the opposite lane for an unknown reason. The Toyota ended up crashing into a northbound Ford Escape.
The horrible catastrophic incident took place Friday at about 3:37 p.m.
Major Car Accident in Moreno Valley
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found both drivers of the two cars suffering in injuries. The article published online mentioned the driver of the Ford sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics rendered aid to the victim at the scene.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned the driver of the Toyota sustained serious trauma. Medical personnel transported the victim to Riverside University Health Systems Medical Center, where he later sadly died. The Riverside County coroner’s office identified the deceased as 61-year-old Isidro Marquez.
Detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the fatal crash at Lasselle Street and Copper Cove Lane in Moreno Valley.
