Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man Near Elsworth Street
Moreno Valley, CA (August 20, 2022) – A pedestrian suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Alessandro Boulevard.
According to My News LA, a vehicle struck an individual in the area near Elsworth Street Friday evening. Earlier reports indicated the pedestrian was pushing a shopping cart southbound across Alessandro Boulevard when the collision happened.
Officials said the driver of the 2019 Toyota Tacoma attempted to stop but still hit the man.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Alessandro Boulevard in Moreno Valley
Shortly after 8:34 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the injured pedestrian, but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Toyota appeared unharmed after the unfortunate event.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate liability in the deadly pedestrian accident that happened on Alessandro Boulevard in Moreno Valley.
