1 Killed, 3 Injured in Moreno Valley Crash at Iris and Kitching
MORENO VALLEY, CA (December 9, 2022) – A crash killed one person and injured several others at Iris Avenue and Kitching Street in Moreno Valley.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Thursday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:15 p.m.
The incident happened on December 8 when two cars collided for an unknown reason in Moreno Valley. The vehicles crashed at the intersection of Iris Avenue and Kitching Street.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department described the cars as a Toyota Sequoia and a Chevrolet Silverado. Deputies forced the area of Iris and Kitching to shut down for hours following the collision.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and pronounced the male driver of the SUV dead at the scene. His passenger sustained major injuries as a result of the accident.
The two occupants of the pickup truck survived the incident with non-life-threatening injuries. Medical personnel rushed all three patients to the Riverside University Medical Center for treatment.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. The cause of the fatal Moreno Valley crash is still under investigation.
