4 Dead, 1 Seriously Injured in Moreno Valley Accident on 60 Freeway
MORENO VALLEY (August 31, 2018) – A traffic collision killed several people and seriously injured one along the 60 Freeway on Friday evening, according to The Press Enterprise.
The accident was reported at about 7:30 p.m. near Redlands Boulevard.
As per the article, Riverside County Fire Department officials responded to the area and found three occupants pinned inside a vehicle and two others had been ejected during the crash.
Four victims were pronounced dead at the scene while the fifth party was immediately taken to the hospital to be treated for major injuries.

The names of the deceased people have not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. The identity and condition of the wounded patient remained unknown but California Highway Patrol affirmed that individual is expected to survive.
Meanwhile, traffic heading east on the 60 Freeway was diverted off at Moreno Beach Drive, while traffic going west was diverted at Redlands Boulevard.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
