MORENO VALLEY: Fatal Crash Gilman Springs Road and Bridge Street

MORENO VALLEY, California (July 5, 2017) — Two men were killed, one suffered moderate injuries in a collision involving two vehicles Tuesday night on Gilman Springs Road, roughly half a mile east of Bridge Street, according to a report by the Riverside County Fire Department.

The crash took place in the Lakeview community about 11:35 p.m. last night. The Riverside County Sheriff Coroner has not yet identified the two adult male victims who died.  One died at the scene of the crash about 11:44 p.m. and the other was transported to Riverside University Health Systems Medical Center where he later died at 1:36 a.m.

The cause of the collision was not stated in the report. The California Highway Patrol’s Indio station is heading up an investigation into the crash and liability.
