Passenger Killed, Driver Injured in 60 Freeway Car Accident
LOCATION: Moreno Valley
DATE OF COLLISION: Friday, December 21st
December 23, 2018 – An unidentified person was killed in a suspected DUI collision on the Highway 60 Freeway Friday evening, according to a local news source.
The accident happened around 11:11 p.m.
As per the article, a solo-vehicle crashed on the westbound lanes of the freeway, just east of Redland Boulevard.
First responders found two parties involved in the collision. One person, who was determined as the passenger in the case, was reportedly trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters worked to extricated the trapped passenger but determined he had succumbed to his injuries on scene.

Meanwhile, the second person, determined to be the driver of the car, was apparently ejected during the impact. The man was evaluated on scene before being placed under arrest on suspicion of DUI.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
