Pedestrian Killed in Moreno Valley Crash at Heacock and Sandbow Streets
MORENO VALLEY, CA (April 15, 2022) – A pedestrian was killed after a crash at Heacock and Sandbow streets in Moreno Valley.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the collision at about 9:45 a.m.
The Riverside County Fire Department said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Moreno Valley. The driver hit the person at the intersection of Heacock and Sandbow streets.

Firefighters along with the paramedics then arrived at the scene, adjacent to the Poorman Reservoir. They found the victim lying on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the patient dead. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officials did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the person. Officers forced the area of Heacock and Sandbow streets to shut down following the incident.
The cause of the fatal Moreno Valley pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
