At Least 1 Injured in Traffic Collision on State Route 60 at Heacock Street Tuesday
Moreno Valley, CA (June 22, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run car crash that occurred on State Route 60 Tuesday morning.
Per CHP log, a big rig and a passenger vehicle collided in the westbound side of SR-60 at Heacock Street. Initial records indicated a black Infiniti pulled over to check a second car that broke down along the freeway. For reasons still unclear, the semi truck traveling behind the Infiniti tailgated the smaller car.
Both the Infiniti and big rig ended up pulling over to the side of State Route 60. Then, the truck operator got down of their vehicle and started beating up the other driver.

The big rig reportedly fled the scene after the altercation.
Meanwhile, the victim was left with injuries near Heacock Street in Moreno Valley. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the injured party. The name of the victim, and the extent of their trauma remained unknown at this time.
Detectives continue to investigate at this time the identity and location of the hit-and-run suspect in the Moreno Valley crash.
