1 Injured in Moreno Valley Hit-and-Run Crash on 60 Freeway at Nason Street

MORENO VALLEY, CA (October 23, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash on the 60 Freeway and Nason Street in Moreno Valley.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 9:11 p.m.

CHP determined that a white Dodge Durango and another vehicle collided in Moreno Valley. The two crashed for an unknown reason on the eastbound 60 Freeway at the Nason Street off-ramp.

The report added that a baby and a dog were inside the Dodge at the time of the incident. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.

2 Vehicles Collide

Medical personnel then found an occupant of the Durango who complained of pain to their back as a result of the collision.

They provided treatment to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the wreck. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver of the other vehicle did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Officers forced the eastbound 60 Freeway at Nason to shut down following the accident.

The cause of the Moreno Valley hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
