MORENO VALLEY, California (November 18, 2014) – Zachery Woodward, 30, of Palm Springs was killed over the weekend in a car accident on Highway 60, less than a mile west of Gilman Springs Road, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported about 12:05 a.m. on Sunday in the eastbound lanes of Highway 60. Witnesses told CHP officers that a pickup truck had been speeding prior to the rollover crash. Paramedics responded to the solo rollover crash, but Woodward died of his injuries at the scene.
Police are heading up an investigation into the crash and will assign liability.
