MORENO VALLEY (August 25, 2016)- According to the Press-Enterprise, a Riverside Transit Agency Bus collided with a vehicle Thursday morning at the intersection of Towngate Boulevard and Frederick Street.
The collision occurred at roughly 6:15 a.m. when the bus collided with a Volkswagen.
A total of eight passengers were aboard the bus as four of them were injured requiring transportation to nearby hospitals for their injuries.
The article read that neither the bus driver or the Volkswagen driver were injured in the collision.
While the cause of the accident remains under investigation, alcohol does not initially appear to have been a factor.
