1 Dead, 3 Badly Injured in Truck Crash on Westbound 60 Freeway
MORENO VALLEY (September 4, 2018) – A fatal traffic collision took place on the 60 Freeway and Theodore Street on Tuesday night, according to The Press Enterprise.
The solo-vehicle accident was reported at 8:22 p.m.
As per the article, Riverside County Fire Department said for an unknown reason a construction truck crashed on the westbound 60 Freeway at Theodore Street. The truck had three occupants when the wreck occurred.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the area and pronounced one person dead at the scene. The name of the deceased has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.

The other two people were immediately taken to an area hospital with injuries described as moderate. The identities and condition at this time were not known.
Meanwhile, all lanes on the westbound 60 freeway were forced to shut down as a result of the crash. The traffic going west on the freeway was being diverted off at Gilman Springs Road while the north lane on Gilman Springs onto the 60 Freeway was also closed.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
