Man Killed in Morgan Hill Hit-and-Run Near Monterey Road and Middle Avenue
MORGAN HILL, CA (December 11, 2020) – A pedestrian died after a hit-and-run crash near Monterey Road and Middle Avenue in Morgan Hill.
According to an article published by East Bay Times, the tragic accident occurred on Thursday. Officers reported the collision at about 5:35 p.m.
The incident happened on December 10 when a male pedestrian was attempting to cross Monterey Road, north of East Middle Avenue.
For an unknown reason, a red compact car then struck him near the 76 gas station. Police said the man fell to the ground as a result of the crash.
After some time, a light-colored pickup truck ran over the victim. Paramedics responded and found the pedestrian left lying on the road following the collision.

Medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene. His name has not been yet released released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police said the drivers of both cars did not stop to render aid and fled southbound on Monterey. Authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run motorists.
Officers forced Monterey Road to shut down between East Middle and Crowner avenues for several hours after the fatal incident.
