Pedestrian Hit by Vehicle on SR-62 (Highway 62)
MORONGO VALLEY, Calif. (May 9, 2022) — A Morongo Valley pedestrian accident happened Monday morning on SR-62 or Highway 62 near Senilis Avenue.
The drivers of a white pickup truck and a gray Honda sedan were involved in a collision about 2:14 p.m. on May 9th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Also, a pedestrian in the center divider area was struck by the eastbound pickup truck.
It’s unclear what led up to the collision or the sequence of events at this time.
Paramedics responded and located at least one person on the ground bleeding, police said.
Tow trucks removed the vehicles from the scene.
A full investigation is underway to determine fault for the Morongo Valley accident.
