2 Women Killed After Car Plunges Down at Moss Landing Harbor
Moss Landing, CA (April 10, 2021) – Two people died following a car crash in the area where Dolan Road meets Highway 1, the KSBW News reported.
Authorities said the catastrophic incident took place late Friday night or early Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol group, a vehicle with at least two occupants crashed down the water of Moss Landing Harbor. The make and model of the car found in the water about 50 feet from the shore remained unknown at this time.
Rescue teams arrived at the scene shortly after 2:50 p.m. Personnel from North Monterey County Fire joined the CHP; State Parks; and the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office in the lengthy recovery operation.

Our sources indicated divers eventually pulled out two bodies from the sunken car. Paramedics sadly pronounced the two women dead at the scene. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Further investigation on the fatal car crash at Moss Landing Harbor is underway.
