Car Accident on State Route Highway 1 in Moss Landing
MOSS LANDING, Calif. (Sept. 20, 2024) — At least one person was injured in a head-on crash in Moss landing along Highway 1, just east of Struve Road.
The two-vehicle collision occurred near 2072-2263 State Route 1 at 4:14 a.m. on Sept. 20th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the traffic accident involved a black 2001 Honda Accord sedan and a white 1995 Acura Integra.
Police responded and located a male unresponsive in the middle of the roadway, but it’s unknown if the person was ejected from one of the vehicles. Others had moderate injuries from the crash and there was broken glass all over the roadway.
Paramedics transported at least one person to Watsonville Community Hospital, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles and investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Highway 1 in Moss Landing.
