FOUNTAIN VALLEY, California (January 3, 2017) — A motorcyclist was injured Tuesday morning in a collision on the southbound Interstate 405 Freeway at the Brookhurst Street off ramp, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 6:21 p.m. today. The rider and motorcycle went down in the HOV and No. 1 lanes of the freeway. The rider was sitting up against the center divider wall after the crash and two vehicles who were involved stopped. The other vehicles were described as a red Saturn Ion that spun out and was on the right shoulder. A silver Toyota 4Runner was also stopped after the crash, but two other motorists were possibly involved and did not stop.
The crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
