
2-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 210 Freeway
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (April 17, 2023) — A motorcycle accident involving a Tesla happened Monday morning on the Interstate 210 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga.
The two-vehicle crash occurred on the westbound I-210 Freeway around 7:14 a.m. on April 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the motorcyclist went down in the HOV and No. 1 lane after colliding with a white Tesla. The driver in the car pulled over to the center divider and called 911 for help.
A second person who witnessed the crash also called 911. She reported the Tesla had passed her vehicle and cut into the HOV lane where the car hit the motorcycle rider, the report said. The white Tesla allegedly had a near miss with another motorist prior to hitting the motorcycle rider, the report said.
Paramedics responded to help the injured rider, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, a tow truck came to remove the motorcycle from the freeway.
Liability for the motorcycle accident on the 210 Freeway remains under investigation. There were no arrests made after the crash.
