Woman Riding Motorcycle Injured in Crash on I-405 Freeway

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Nov. 7, 2024) — A woman was injured in a motorcycle accident involving a van on the southbound Interstate 405 Freeway, just south of Roscoe Boulevard in Van Nuys.

The two-vehicle crash occurred around 6:26 a.m. on Nov. 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the motorcyclist and a dark-colored van were involved in the crash in the HOV lane of the freeway. The rider went down in the traffic lane and she suffered a leg injury.

Paramedics responded to transport the injured woman to a hospital, but there are no further details.

A tow truck removed the damaged bike from the roadway and investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on the 405 Freeway.
