Motorcyclist Hurt in Crash on 91 Freeway in Arlington Area
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (May 6, 2021) — A motorcycle accident on the 91 Freeway involving a hit-and-run driver happened Thursday just west of Van Buren Boulevard in Arlington.
The collision happened about 12:23 p.m. on May 6th in Riverside County.
A driver in a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck struck a white Honda Accord, that went on to hit the motorcyclist in the HOV lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Hit-and-run Driver Involved in 91 Freeway Crash
Additionally, the CHP reports the motorcyclist went down in the roadway and suffered undisclosed injuries. Meanwhile, one of the vehicles left the scene and the CHP classified the crash as a hit-and-run incident.
Also, police issued a SigAlert for the HOV and No. 1 lanes about 12:34 p.m. A tow truck removed the motorcycle from the scene.
Investigators seek to determine liability for the 91 Freeway motorcycle accident.
