Motorcyclist, Car Crash on Highway 4 in Pittsburg
PITTSBURG, Calif. (August 31, 2022) — A motorcycle accident on Highway 4 at Railroad Avenue happened Wednesday morning in Pittsburg, California.
The 2-vehicle crash occurred in the westbound lanes about 6:31 a.m. on August 31st, just west of the Railroad Avenue on ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a motorcycle and a silver Toyota sedan collided due to unknown circumstances. Police issued a SigAlert as the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes were blocked by vehicles and emergency responders.
Paramedics were there to help those hurt in the crash, but there are no further details at this time.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Pittsburg crash.
