At Least 1 Injured in Car VS Motorcycle Accident at Highway 50 and 5 Freeway Connector
SACRAMENTO (August 9, 2018) – A traffic collision involving a motorcycle took place where Highway 50 and the Interstate 5 Freeway connects Thursday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol log.
At 1:09 p.m., a silver Nissan and a motorcycle crashed for unknown reasons on the westbound side of the highway.

When medical personnel arrived at the accident scene, they immediately rendered aid to the people involved. As per the CHP dispatch, the crash resulted in minor injuries, but the names of the victims remained undisclosed at this time.
Shortly after the wreck, a part of the freeway was closed to give way to the investigation. The exact cause of the collision is still being determined.
