
THE FORKS, Calif. (Feb. 8, 2023) — A motorcycle accident happened Wednesday afternoon on Highway 101 at the Lake Mendocino Drive off ramp in The Forks.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 3 p.m. on Feb. 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the crash happened on or near Hensley Creek Bridge.
The rider suffered a back injury when they went down in the roadway. It’s unknown what led up to the traffic accident at this time.
CAL Fire sent paramedics, but it’s unknown if the rider was hospitalized.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on Highway 101.
