Motorcyclist Injured in a Crash on SR-74 in Riverside County

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (Feb. 28, 2024) — A motorcycle versus car accident happened Wednesday morning on State Route Highway 74 and Mapes Road in Good Hope, Riverside County.

The two-vehicle crash occurred at around 6:25 a.m. on Feb. 28th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a driver in a black Toyota Corolla sedan and the motorcyclist collided head-on after one of them moved into the path of the other one. The motorcyclist went down in traffic lanes and sustained unknown injuries.

Paramedics from CAL Fire Riverside responded to help at least one person with injuries from the collision, but there are no further details.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both the motorcycle and the car from the roadway.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
