
Major Injury Motorcycle Crash Involving Big Rig Truck
TEHAMA COUNTY, Calif. (Sept. 27, 2024) – A motorcycle accident involving a semi-truck happened Thursday morning at Highway 99 and Gyle Road in Tehama County.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 4:15 a.m. on Sept. 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP deputies responded to the crash scene where they located a semi-truck and motorcycle in the roadway just outside of Corning.
The semi-truck was traveling eastbound on Gyle Road and began turning northbound onto Highway 99-W when an oncoming northbound motorcycle crashed into the front fender of the big rig.
The motorcyclist suffered major injuries and he was airlifted Enloe Health Medical Center.
The CHP is heading up the investigation and will determine fault for the motorcycle accident on Highway 99 in Tehama County.
