Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Car Accident on Howe Avenue

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Feb. 16, 2024) — A motorcycle and car were involved in an accident Friday afternoon on Howe Avenue in the Arden Arcade area of Sacramento.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 2:24 p.m. on Feb. 16th, according to the California Highway Patrol report.

CHP officials reported a driver in a small, silver 4-door car collided with the bike due to unknown circumstances.

The rider went down in the roadway in front of 1961 Howe Avenue. Paramedics from the Sacramento Fire Department responded to help the injured motorcycle rider and transport the person to UC Davis Medical Center for further treatment.

The traffic accident remains under investigation to determine fault.
