Motorcyclist Hurt in Crash on I-15 Freeway

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Nov. 9, 2023) — A motorcycle accident happened Thursday afternoon on the northbound Intestate 15 Freeway, near Scripps Poway Parkway in San Diego.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 2:12 p.m. on Nov. 9th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a motorcyclist collided with a grey Honda and or a service truck in the HOV lane of the freeway due to unknown circumstances.

Paramedics responded and located the rider down in the No. 1 lane of the freeway, but it’s unknown if the person was hospitalized.

A tow truck responded to remove the damaged motorcycle from the roadway.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the San Diego motorcycle accident on the 15 Freeway.
