SIGNAL HILL, Calif. (Feb. 28, 2023) — A motorcycle accident happened Tuesday morning on the northbound Interstate 405 Freeway at Long Beach Boulevard in Signal Hill.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 6:58 a.m. on Feb. 28th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver in a white Chrysler van reportedly hit the motorcyclist in the No. 1 lane of the freeway due to unknown circumstances. The rider went down and was found underneath his or her motorcycle.
The Long Beach Fire Department responded to help anyone hurt in the crash. It’s unknown at this time if they transported the injured rider to a hospital or not.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on the Interstate 405 Freeway.
