Motorcyclist Hurt in Crash on I-5 Freeway
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Oct. 13, 2021) — A motorcycle accident on the Interstate 5 Freeway happened Wednesday morning near North Broadway in the Lincoln Heights area of Los Angeles.
The traffic accident happened on the southbound I-5 about 8:11 a.m. on Oct. 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported the rider went down in the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes after a collision with two vehicles. It’s unknown at this time what led to the multi-vehicle crash.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded and requested a helicopter land nearby to transport the injured rider to a hospital. Police did not share the extent of the motorcyclist’s injuries in the CHP dispatch report.
Meanwhile, police are investigating the cause of the motorcycle accident on the Interstate 5.
