Motorcycle Rider Injured in Crash on the I-5 Freeway in Elk Grove
ELK GROVE, Calif. (April 5, 2024) — A motorcycle versus car accident happened Friday morning on the Interstate 5 Freeway near the Elk Grove Boulevard off ramp in Elk Grove.
The collision occurred about a.m. on April 5th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers of a gray Toyota and a motorcycle were involved in the collision in the fast lane of the freeway.
Paramedics responded and transported the injured rider to Methodist Hospital of Sacramento for treatment of injuries including back pain, the report said. The rider’s last name is Jackson, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed at least one of the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
