Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 Freeway in Irvine
IRVINE, Calif. (August 16, 2023) — Two motorcycle riders were involved in a multi-vehicle crash on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway, just north of Jamboree Road in Irvine.
The four-vehicle collision occurred around 9:25 a.m. on August 16th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported it happened in the HOV and No. 1 lanes of the freeway.
At least one person suffered minor injuries and required an ambulance. At least one motorcycle was towed from the freeway.
Finally, authorities are investigating what caused the crash and liability.
