Motorcycle Rider Injured in Crash on Freeway
SANTA ANA, Calif. (August 23, 2023) — A motorcycle and car were involved in an accident on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway underneath Main Street in Santa Ana.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 1 p.m. on August 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a motorcyclist and a white BMW sedan collided in the HOV lane of the Interstate 5 Freeway just south of the transition to the 57 Freeway.
It’s unknown what caused the collision at this time.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to help the injured motorcyclist and a tow truck came to remove the motorcycle.
The Tustin Police Department was at the scene and an investigation is underway to determine fault.
