Motorcycle and Vehicle Involved in Crash
MARTINEZ, Calif. (July 18, 2023) — A motorcycle accident happened Tuesday morning on the Interstate 680 Freeway at the entrance to the Benicia-Martinez Bridge.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 6:26 a.m. on July 18th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the vehicles were blocking the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes of the northbound I-680 Freeway.
Paramedics responded to help the motorcyclist due to minor injuries, but it’s unknown if the person was taken to a hospital or treated on scene only.
Meanwhile, a tow truck removed the damaged motorcycle from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash.
