Motorcycle Accident Oak Run to Fern Road in Shasta County

REDDING, Calif., (March 30, 2026) — A fatal motorcycle accident happened Sunday on Oak Run to Fern Road near Phillips Road northeast of Redding in Shasta County.

The traffic accident involved a solo motorcyclist carrying a passenger. The collision occurred at approximately 12:00 PM on March 29th, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

One of the two people suffered major injuries in the collision and died following the crash. The condition of the second rider is unknown at this time, but there was a significant response from fire crews and an air crew was at the scene following the report of the crash.
