Motorcyclist and Passenger Injured in Crash Near Huntington Avenue
FRESNO (July 27, 2018) – Injuries were reported following a traffic collision on Clovis Avenue Thursday evening, according to ABC News.
At approximately 10 p.m., a motorcyclist crashed into a police patrol car on Clovis near Huntington Avenue.
Officials said the rider was trying to weave through traffic caused by an earlier accident. At some point, the motorcyclist swerved to avoid hitting a car, and ended up slamming into a police patrol car that was blocking part of the road.
Injury Motorcycle Accident Thursday in Fresno
The collision resulted in injuries to an unidentified woman riding as a passenger on the motorcycle. As per the article, the victim was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
Authorities added the motorcycle rider was treated at the scene for a few abrasions.
At this time, the names of the parties involved have not been disclosed thus far.
