Motorcycle Accident on Folsom Boulevard at Mayhew Road in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (July 2, 2025) — A motorcycle versus car accident happened Wednesday morning on Folsom Boulevard in the La Rivera area of Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials say the collision occurred around 8:47 a.m. on July 2nd, 2025.

The motorcyclist was possibly hit by a gold Ford Focus and crashed underneath a black Honda Civic.

The rider went down near the center divider and one of the vehicles was disabled in the center turn lane, the report said.

Paramedics and firefighters responded to help the injured rider and tow trucks removed the Honda and the motorcycle from the roadway.

Finally, detectives are working to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on Folsom Boulevard.
