2 Injured After Motorcycle Crash on Redwood Highway
LOCATION: Hopland, Mendocino County
DATE OF COLLISION: Tuesday, September 4th
September 6, 2018 – Two people were injured after the motorcycle they were riding crashed on Highway 101 Tuesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Primary reports indicated a motorcycle veered off SR-101, also known as Redwood Highway, for reasons still under investigation.
Shortly after 4:50 p.m., emergency crews arrived in the 13100 block of the highway and found a single motorcycle crashed about 50 feet down the steep embankment.
Minor Injury Accident Tuesday in Hopland
As per the CHP log, one male, and one female were located at the accident scene. Both parties appeared to have sustained minor injuries as a result of the wreck. The names of the victims, and their conditions at this time have not been disclosed thus far.
